What you'll Learn and Bring Back to Your Practice

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning: diagnose and treatment plan fully and partially edentulous patients, read Cone Beam CT images for full-mouth implant cases, and weigh the patient, medical, and medication factors that affect long-term implant success.
Surgical Concepts for Success: work through the instruments, anesthesia considerations, and exodontia principles behind successful tooth and bone management, along with soft and hard tissue grafting, suturing, and post-op management.
Prosthodontic Concepts for Success: apply the Four Cornerstones of full-mouth rehabilitation (esthetics, vertical dimension of occlusion, jaw and skeletal relationships, and occlusion), plus digital and analog impression techniques for both provisional and definitive prostheses.
Laboratory Materials and Practice Management: communicate effectively with dental labs, understand the equipment and materials involved, and apply the informed consent and standard-of-care principles that guide ethical full-mouth rehabilitation.

Prerequisites
Doctors should already have a solid surgical and restorative foundation with single implants, crowns, and bridges. The following skills are assumed and won't be covered in depth:

Atraumatic surgical extractions
Socket preservation and bone grafting
Implant placement (ideally some guided, many freehand)
Suturing techniques
Creating dentures using a wax rim

Dr. Logan Locke, DDS

Dr. Locke graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah before attending Creighton Dental School on scholarship through the Regional Dental Education Program. He brings extensive dental implant and 3 on 6 experience to his role as Director of the Smile Systems Institute, where he's focused on evidence-based teaching and helping doctors around the country improve their outcomes.

Dr. Randy Roberts, DDS

Dr. Roberts earned his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry and founded Utah Smile Clinic before co-founding Smile Systems. He pioneered the 3 on 6 full mouth restoration procedure and now leads Research and Development for Smile Systems, working to improve outcomes while reducing the cost and time investment for doctors and patients alike.

Dr. Micah Weisenberg, DDS

Dr. Weisenberg graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry after a Bachelor's in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Bioinformatics from Towson University. He's undergone advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, implants, full mouth reconstructions, occlusion, and grafting, and teaches surgical and restorative procedures for full mouth reconstructions as an educator with the Smile Systems Institute.
