Advanced Implant Placement: Pterygoids
This advanced international course is designed for clinicians ready to push beyond conventional full-arch surgery and master pterygoid implant placement in severely atrophic maxillae.
In partnership with João Baptista and the Orofacial Center, this immersive experience places you inside a high-volume surgical environment where pterygoid implants are used intentionally—not as a last resort.
You’ll work alongside seasoned surgeons, observe and assist in complex cases, and gain a deep understanding of when, why, and how to use pterygoid implants safely and predictably.
This course is not about dabbling. It’s about decision-making, anatomy, rescue strategies, and surgical confidence when the bone is gone and the margin for error is small.
