Dr. Taher Dhoon

Dr. Taher Dhoon was born in Utah, where he learned to love the outdoors. He later moved to California, receiving his BA in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, random seating placed him next to another aspiring dentist named Bridget, who would later become his wife. Bridget and Taher have three energetic kids: Connor, Claire, and Jonathan. They are the absolute light of his life. Adding to the family is a golden retriever named West and a little rescue Shi-poo named Jordy. As a family, they enjoy exploring all the hidden secrets Colorado offers, including biking, swimming, making pizzas, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Dhoon has traveled worldwide to learn and perfect the most complex techniques available in modern-day dentistry. He is trained in all aspects of dentistry: general, sleep, ortho, surgical, full mouth rehabs, and more. He has seen first-hand the power of these surgical transformations and how they change the lives of his patients and their families. That’s why he developed a proven system that delivers fast and predictable surgical solutions. He is the co-founder of the Colorado Surgical Institute, a live-patient training center in Northern CO. He guides dentists through surgeries that they perform on live patients so that they can truly grasp the skills needed to succeed when they return to their communities. Dr. Dhoon loves teaching and inspiring other dentists, and his life's mission is to pay it forward and educate. Dr. Dhoon also teaches the business of dentistry with the Dental Success Institute, has authored a book on start-ups and acquisitions called “The Practice Launchpad,” and is a faculty member in multiple dentistry forums and an Implantology program. He also trains GPs to become Super GPs in his Advanced Associates program and then finds jobs in offices that will allow them to experience astronomic growth. He is genuinely here to be of service to the profession.
